Posting a photo

Well, I added a photo that seems to sum up how I'm feeling today. Lots of beautiful things in the distance, but I'm out to sea and trying to regain my footing.

Week 2 # 4

Okay, sent the sjlibrary23journey.blogspot.com to the Virtual Services Team email.

This is as far as I have time for today. Thanks for the good start.

Week 2, Number 3

Well, this is actually not the first post I've done. However, setting up the blog was easy. I have a myspace account, but don't blog on it. This seems easier.

Week 1 Number 2

Listened and watched the tutorial. Wrote down the habits; reminded me of Steven Covey's 7 Habits. I guess the hardest for me will be to begin with the end in mind. I don't know much about some of the new technologies, and a lot about others, so it's hard to visualize the end - other than being better informed and better able to help others. Easiest might be to take responsibility for my learning. Learning 2.0 will be fun.

Week 1 Thing 1

Listened to the podcast about the program. I saw this listed somewhere - sorry brainfreeze, can't remember whether it was in American Libraries, or Google Librarian, and thought I would try to follow the program. It's great that SJL is giving everyone a chance to get a flash drive - I love them. They make it so easy to transfer files and pictures from one place to another.

Beginning Learning 2.0 journey

I have just started on this path. It's very exciting to be learning something new. I always have fun exploring. Guess that's why I became a librarian.
